Hi, we’re Roadtrip Nation, and we send people on road trips in our green RV to talk to their heroes, potential mentors, and anyone who’s doing generally awesome stuff. We film it all and turn it into a show to inspire people to follow their interests.

This August, Roadtrip Nation is sending three people on a 3-week adventure across multiple states, made possible by the Center for Audit Quality's "Discover Audit" initiative. On the road, they’ll meet auditing professionals doing interesting work in a variety of roles, as well as people who’ve applied the skills they gained from auditing to pursue other dreams. It’s a journey into all that auditing and accounting has to offer—and we want you to come along!

Auditors work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to maintain strong financial reporting ecosystems that create credibility and confidence in the capital markets for investors from Wall Street to Main Street. Often using cutting-edge technologies to enhance quality and efficiency by gaining deeper insights into financial data.

But it’s not just about numbers. From auditors working in sports leagues, to entertainment firms, to those who’ve gone on to run tech startups, you’ll meet former and present auditors who prove the profession is anything but one-note. Apply below for the chance of a lifetime. Feel free to check out resources to learn more about a career in public company auditing and the many reasons to Discover Audit.

Essential Details

  • This application is open to community college and college students starting at age 18 who are majoring in accounting, finance, or related fields, or are considering a pathway in the world of auditing. Auditing combines all sorts of interests, so if you’re dual majoring in an audit-related field and something else, even better!
  • Applicants must be available to commit to travel for up to three weeks in August. If chosen, you’ll travel in a Roadtrip Nation RV to meet professionals in auditing, as well as those who got their start in the profession.
  • If this trip conflicts with a potential internship or other opportunity in auditing or accounting, don’t let that stop you from applying! We’ll do our best to work with your schedule and previous commitments.
  • This is for a documentary, so you’ll be filmed and the footage may be shared on public television and other video platforms.
  • Individuals who are chosen will help plan the trip, researching and booking interviews alongside Roadtrip Nation.
